Our Ludington Trip

I promised some photos from Ludington.

We arrived Wednesday afternoon and set up camp. We didn't do much that night. We shared Brandan's summer sausage with Derek's family. That was great. I brought some Aldi's hummus which was a big hit even with Zach :)

Thursday we went to Hamlin Lake (right on the campground). Cooper was not sure about the water. Anna was ready to get in right away. Lillian was still spooked from Newaygo's camping trip where she fell in the water. After a bit, Lilly did get in.






The sand that day was incredibly hot, which probably spooked Cooper even more.

All in all it was a great day. Cooper used my water bottle and dropped it in the sand. Oh well, it will clean. Every once in awhile, I still get a piece of sand in my mouth.

Zach was fun to watch playing with the kids. He seemed to have so much patience with them. The kids adore him and his brother Jake.
